Significant Flooding - Road Closures
Please be advised that as of 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Roads Department has closed portions of the following roads due to significant flooding:
- Chetwynd Road, specifically between municipal addresses 2363 and 2595 (West of the Kearney Border)
- Cherry Hill Road is closed to all through traffic at civic address 460. Due to heavy, sustained water flows and a severe washout, everything east of this address is currently inaccessible.
- Lakeview Crescent, entirely. Rising water levels are damaging Lakeview Crescent. Crews are monitoring the situation closely and are actively working on washing issues on this road.
- Stoney Road, closing a portion, specifically between municipal addresses 172 and 205.
Roads crews are on-site monitoring the situation. Please use caution, obey all safety signage, and do not attempt to drive through flooded areas.
We are actively assessing the situation and working to rectify the damage. Further updates will be provided as conditions change.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of our community.
These sections of municipal roads are now impassable and closed to all through traffic until further notice.
