Sand Available for Flood Response to Residents

April 13, 2026 - Attention Armour Township Residents:

The Roads Department has placed a pile of sand for sandbags at Doe Lake Park (1014 Ferguson Road) and Dobbs Beach (180 Kent Road) for Armour Township resident's use. Residents are welcome to fill sandbags as needed to help protect their personal property in response to potential flooding.

Please bring your own shovels and sandbags, as only sand is provided at this location.

Armour residents may pick up sandbags by appointment from the Katrine Community Centre (6 Brown's Drive) on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by calling 705-382-3332 ext 301.
