THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ARMOUR REQUEST FOR QUOTE Installation of Heating System 827 Chetwynd Road, Burk’s Falls, Ontario Provide quote for the installation of a heating system: Supply and installation of a propane heating system, ducting & thermostat that meets the requirements set out in Attachment 1 – Heat Loss Study. 2. Supply and installation of a heat return ventilation system. The Township will consider alternative vented propane heating systems where the bidder demonstrates that the proposed system meets the required heating load, temperature distribution, humidity control, operating efficiency, safety, historical artifact-protection and code requirements. Bidders may also provide optional quotes on the following: • Compatible air conditioning components. • Compatible humidification components. Timing: Work to be completed by Friday, October 30th, 2026. Site Visits: By appointment, as required by the bidder. Attachments: Heat Loss Study 2. Building Layout Sketch Submissions: Submissions must be presented on the municipal quote form included below, in a sealed envelope and will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Watt Farm Red Building Heating System”. All quotes will be opened on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 at 2:05p.m. in the Council chambers of the Township of Armour at 56 Ontario Street, Burk’s Falls, Ontario. The successful bidder shall provide proof of public liability and property damage insurance policy coverage, minimum value of $2,000,000 and proof of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board coverage within ten (10) calendar days of being notified of submission of successful bid.
