Request for Quotations are being requested for the 2026/2027 Ice Technician contract position. The 50’ x 100’ outdoor ice rink is located on the property of the Katrine Community Centre. The successful contractor will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the outdoor rink, including the associated change room facility. The Township of Armour is seeking individuals interested in submitting proposals for the below Contract Position OUTDOOR ICE SKATING RINK ICE TECHNICIAN Application and list of duties are available at the Armour Township Office during business hours and below Township of Armour Municipal Office 56 Ontario Street Burk's Falls, ON P0A 1C0 Submission Deadline Friday, September 11, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted on the below Township Forms. Lowest quotation not necessarily accepted. Please submit completed RFQ documentation to clerk@armourtownship.ca or drop off in a sealed envelope titled "Outdoor Ice Technician RFQ" at the Township of Armour Municipal Office. Personal information contained in submissions received by the Township of Armour in response to this Request for Quotation is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, and the municipality’s applicable procurement by-law and policies. The information collected will be used for the purpose of evaluating and administering this procurement process, including determining the qualifications and suitability of proponents/suppliers, communicating with respondents, awarding the contract, and administering any resulting agreement. The information may also be disclosed where authorized or required by law, including under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56 (MFIPPA).
