Tuesday, April 23, 2024: Owl Lake Road will be closed from Civic Address 79 for a culvert replacement. The road will be closed for approximately 5 hours while work is completed. NO through traffic will be allowed during the scheduled closure. Should EMS require access during this time for emergency services, provisions will be made with minimal delays.

The Township of Armour is initiating changes to the Zoning By-law to improve the definition of “height” in the Armour Township Zoning By-law to clarify and assist the building permit process. TAKE NOTICE That the Council of the Township of Armour will hold a virtual Public Meeting on May 14, 2024 at 6:45 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning By‑law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act to amend By‑law No. 27-95 as amended, the Armour Township Zoning By‑law. The Township of Armour is hosting our annual Pitch-In week from April 15 - 22, 2024. Pre-register at the Township of Armour's Municipal Office and pick up your garbage bags and gloves. Participation Certificates will be issued to children under the age of 16, upon request.

Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Burk's Falls Fairgrounds, 220 Centre Street and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The grounds will host our annual Southeast Almaguin Firefighter Challenge, Car Show with awards (free registration), Vendors Market (over 100 vendors this year), Tractor Display (free registration), and loads more free attractions for all ages!
