THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ARMOUR

MINUTES June 23, 2009

           A special meeting of the Council of the Township of Armour was held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Reeve, Bob MacPhail, Councillors, Rod Blakelock, Jerry Brandt, Marty Corcoran and Pat Hayes; municipal planner Robert Miller and Wendy Whitwell, Clerk Administrator.

          This special meeting was called to review in detail the proposed Official Plan modifications by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, particularly modification numbers 7, 14, 17, 19, 28, 37, 47, 55, and 63. Council reviewed and discussed the following information:

-         email from Robert Miller dated June 19, 2009

-         detailed report from Robert Miller dated June 4, 2009

-         draft modifications from MMAH dated May 25, 2009

           After a lengthy discussion regarding the impact of the proposed modifications the following was decided:

-         Mod # 7 - remove the wording in the official plan, thereby no modification is required.

-         Mod # 14, 17, 19, 37, 47 and 63 - accept all modifications

-         Mod # 28 - needs to be removed, do not accept

-         Mod # 55 - do not accept.

          Bob Miller will draft a response to MMAH for the next council meeting.

 -         Moved by Jerry Brandt, Seconded by Marty Corcoran, that we adjourn this special meeting at 7:00 p.m. Carried
