PUBLIC MEETING

CONCERNING A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT

A complete application has been received by the Township of Armour from Deborah and Steven Thompson for a Zoning By-law Amendment for lands described as part of Lot 10, Concession II, being part of Block A in Plan PSR-M91, more particularly known as 66 Brown’s Drive in the Township of Armour (please see location map attached).

The purpose of this By-law is to enable one accessory garage on the lot to be used for a motor vehicle repair shop with no outdoor storage.

TAKE NOTICE

That the Council of the Township of Armour will hold a public meeting on September 26, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Armour Township Council Chambers to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act to amend By-law No. 27-95 as amended, the Armour Township Zoning By-law.

ANY PERSON

may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal presentation either in support of, or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment.

IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY

does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Armour before the By-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Armour to the Ontario Municipal Board.

IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY

does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Armour before the By-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
