THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ARMOUR MINUTES March 8, 2001
A special meeting of the Council of the Township of Armour was held on Thursday, March 8, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Those in attendance were Reeve, Frank Gill, Councillors Rod Blakelock, Marty Corcoran, Joanne Cripps, and Gary McFarlane and Laura Rowley, Clerk Treasurer. This meeting was called to discuss, with the municipal solicitor, the municipality's position in the Application filed with the Superior Court of Justice. The meeting was called to order at 7:32 P.M. The following resolutions passed: - Moved by Joanne Cripps, Seconded by Marty Corcoran, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Township of Armour move into closed session at 7:33 P.M. in order to discuss legal matters pursuant to Section 55 (5) (e) of the Municipal Act. (Carried) - Moved by Joanne Cripps, Seconded by Rod Blakelock, That we move out of closed session at 8:12 P.M. (Carried) - Moved by Gary McFarlane, Seconded by Joanne Cripps, That the Corp. of the Township of Armour appoint Marshall Green of Graham, Wilson & Green (Barrie) to represent the Township in the Application presently before the Court (Feb 5/01 and Mar 5/01) (Recorded vote: Y Gary, Joanne, Frank; No Marty, Rod) (Carried) - Moved by Rod Blakelock, seconded by Marty Corcoran, That this special meeting of Council is hereby adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
